About The All Breed Training Club of Akron, Inc. (ABTCA)
The All Breed Training Club of Akron, Inc. was founded in 1949 by a small group of friends who enjoyed getting together to train their dogs. ABTCA became a member of the American Kennel Club in 1950.
We enjoy teaching people how to train their own dogs!
Our objectives for over 60 years has been to advance the best interests of dogs in our communty, especially in the area of obedience training and basic household manners.
Members of our Club are involved in various events include training for competitive Obedience, Agility, Herding, Earth Dog Trials, Field trials, Conformation shows, therapy visits, and 4-H.
We are a nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(7) of the Internal Revenue Code.
